Draft Itinerary

We have as yet to see the final version of this itinerary, but it will change anyway even if it is the final version. If you are a careful reader you will notice the itinerary has us leaving Ghana a day early. Not to worry, we'll be coming home on Jan. 19, not 18. Well, except for Curt and Steve who will return on Jan. 14.

The Ghana Group

Here we are, the Ghana travelers. Eight students from Eden: Liz, Debbie, Aaron, Kara, Traci, Patt, Chris, Sarah; two leaders: Diane and Alice; three guests: Alice's husband, Ralph, and two members of St. John's UCC Chesterfield, MO, Curt and Steve. This photo was taken just after we had completed the ropes course at Shannondale Community Center south of Salem, MO to build trust and community before heading to Ghana on New Year's Day.

We will learn about the church outside of the US through the lens of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana. And we will learn about one another. We will also visit dear friends and graduates of Eden to experience their ministries around the country. Our retreat was cold; Ghana will be much warmer. We will not be posting everyday, but check back from time to time to read about our exploits when we are able to find a cyber cafe.
